**Our dryer stopped working a couple of weeks ago. It wouldn’t even start. My husband tried some things after looking at possible solutions on YouTube, but nothing seemed to work. So we called Able Appliance due to a referral from my brother. They were able to schedule an appointment in less than 24 hours. Rob came out and checked out the dryer. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and was able to locate the problem very quickly. In fact, it wasn’t the dryer at all but the power outlet needed replaced. He explained what we needed to do to replace the outlet and how to test the wires. My husband was able to pick up the part on his way home from work and replaced the outlet in about 10 minutes. Wow! the dryer works again. And what a shock to get all of that knowledge and advice at no charge. We will definitely call Able Appliance first when we have a problem!**

**Our Maytag refrigerator broke on Tues night. I started looking online for Maytag repair places and came across the Able website. I knew nothing about them but read their reviews and they all sounded good. I called Wed morning about 7 am and they sent someone out at noon which was the earliest I could be available that day. Rob was our service person and he was very prompt – we were never given one of those 2-4 hr windows which I really appreciated. Rob looked at the refrig and needed to get a part. He told me the approximate cost of the part & said he would go see if he could get one. He said he would call me in 15 min to let me know if he was successful and could come right back – or if he’d have to schedule for the next day. He called, found the part and had the whole thing done by 1:15. I will definitely use Able again and will recommend them to others.**

Slow & Overpriced

I called to schedule a technician to come look at my dryer on a Monday, but it was Thursday before the guy could come and take a look at it. He, Zack Dailey, determined that it was the timer that was defective and said he would order me one and it would come in on Monday and that he could install it the following Tuesday afternoon. He said he would call me Tuesday to let me know what time he would come to install the timer, but he never called nor did he show up that day. I called his cell phone and left a message, but he didn't return my call. The next day I called him directly again and had to leave a message. Same thing the next day. On Friday I called the office and complained and shortly thereafter he finally called me (4 days late mind you). He said the wrong part came in and "somehow you weren't told about it", but he was the one I was dealing with and should have called me. More days of calling him without him answering and me having to call the office and complain again... The repair got scheduled for the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and went without hearing from or seeing the technician. Once again I called the office to complain and the technician, Zach, I soon got a call from him stating that the part came in and he could install it Friday afternoon and that he would call me thirty minutes to an hour before he would arrive.. Friday he did call, but he was standing on my porch! How unprofessional is that? Their technician, Zach Dailey, seems rather undependable and untrustworthy (in my o[pinion). Anyhow... regarding the price of the repair... The part (the timer) was $187 and the labor was $120 which equals $307. I subsequently found out that the part can be bought anywhere for under $100 (as low as $45 online w/free shipping) and it took Zach less than 15 minutes to do the repair. 15 minutes labor for $120? $187 for a $79 part? Like the title says... SLOW & OVERPRICED!

We are so sorry about the communication issue with the technician. Most of ther technicians, do not really check their messages. It's always best to call the office, so we can get them dispatched for you. We do not buy our parts on line, we get them from the parts supplier. We try our best to give all of our customers the best price and service that we can. We will speak with Zach about making sure his customers are taken care of in a timely matter and to make sure they are getting the customer service that they deserve. Again, we are sorry about any inconvenience we have have caused you.

Excellent Service

I scheduled a repair about 2 weeks ago. Prior to arrival Jake called me to ask about my washing machine issue. I told him what was happening, gave him the brand and model number. He felt it would be the washer value and would bring one with him. Within the hour Jake arrived and diagnosed the problem within 20 seconds. He explained why the value needed to be replaced and what the cost would be prior to starting. Once he finished, he ran the machine so I could hear the difference in the water coming into the drum. Jake was quick, honest and friendly. I would absolutely recommend him and Able in the future. Thank you!

On 7/31 Zach Dailey cane to repair a refrigerator that was extremely noisy in operation. It was a Kenmore built by LG. Zach quickly diagnosed the problem and now the appliance is almost quiet while running. He was eficient and would certainly be my choice for appliance repairs.

Washer Repair

My washer, of only about 3-4 years old stopped working. Zach arrived, explained in detail what was going on, fixed the washer and was gone in less than 30 minutes. He even listened to my horror story of going to the laundry mat. He was very professional and polite.

Excellent Service

My washer stopped working. Since it is a Kenmore, I checked Sears first, but it was 10 days before they were able to come out. I think just checked locally and found Able Appliances. Ratings looked good, they were very pleasant on the phone and wait time was short. Mark was our service person. He was very nice and extraordinarily knowledgeable - knew right away what was wrong. It was late when he arrived and he still gave excellent service and checked everything out. Never complained about working late - said he loved what he did! Very refreshing. I would definitely call again.
